Exciting News from the Crystal Falls District
Library for Card Holders AND Non-card Holders!
Even though our library's physical doors are shut,
you can sign-up for a free, temporary digital library card
that gives you access to thousands of eBooks, digital
audiobooks, magazines, movies, language learning
tools and more!  It is available for anyone who lives
in the city of Crystal Falls, Crystal Falls Township, and
Mansfield Township, who does NOT currently have a
card.  If you are a blocked member at our library due to
fines, this service is also available for you to use.

To register, from our website click on the Library's
Card Catalog found on the left hand side of the menu.
On the right hand side of the card catalog you will
see a register now button.  Click on that to register.
After you register, make sure to write down your new
account number immediately.  You will need that
number, along with the PIN you create, to access
our digital resources.

Once we are open and back to being fully operational,
it is our hope that you come to visit us, and we will
make you an actual card for our library.
These digital services are already available for everyone
who has a Crystal Falls District Library card. You will need
your card number and pin to access them.  If you do

 Interlibrary DElivery Service

The Crystal Falls District Community Library Joins
Resource Sharing and Delivery System
Starting Monday, November 4th, patrons from the Crystal
Falls District Community Library will be able to access
the collections of 42 other Upper and Northern Michigan
libraries with no travel time involved.  If the library's copy of
the latest bestselling title is out, patrons can use the "place hold"
button in the online catalog to request a copy, and another library
will send their copy on via the RIDES statewide delivery system.
Additionally, patrons may search the collections of participating
libraries by selecting the "resource sharing libraries" option in the
Crystal Falls library catalog, and those items are also eligible for
hold requests.  There is no cost to patrons for the new service,
and the 2 day a week courier cost is being shared by the Crystal
Falls Library and the Superiorland Library Cooperative.  Patrons
will need to be in good standing and possess a library card
number and PIN to place requests. Contact library staff to get
your PIN number or with other questions
