Book Sale Volunteers:  Those people who are interested in volunteering for the Friends' book sales are welcome to call the library at 932-0203.  Volunteers are needed to help set up, take down, and work the sale itself!

Book Donations:  The Friends of the Ironwood Carnegie Library accept book donations for the group's annual Spring and Fall Book Sales all year long.   Clean books in good condition can be dropped off at the library.   We welcome hardcover and paperback fiction (please, nothing over 10 years old unless it's a classic), art books, biographies, how-to books, cookbooks, books on gardening and crafts, large-print books and up-to-date self-help books. We also appreciate books about sports, health, politics, business and entertainment. We are interested in all children's books.  We accept videos, DVDs, music CDs and books on tape.

Please, no records, atlases, old textbooks, encyclopedias or Readers' Digest condensed books, professional books, or outdated computer manuals.  We accept National Geographic Magazine, as well as other literary or specialty magazines such as cooking magazines, Majesty, Sun, etc.  PLEASE ASK THE LIBRARY STAFF IF YOUR MAGAZINE DONATION IS ONE THAT IS CURRENTLY BEIGN ACCEPTED.   We ask for books to be gently used or new-please do not donate any book that is torn, moldy, or musty.  For additional information about book donations, call the library.
