Welcome to the Negaunee Public Library
Tutors needed PDF Print E-mail

As part of Libraries Lead with Digital Skills, an initiative of the American Library Association and the Public Library Association and sponsored by Grow with Google, the Negaunee Public Library is seeking computer tutors to assist job seekers.

The library will hold a training session for tutors from 4:30-8:00 p.m. Monday, September 23. High school and university students are welcome to attend this session, free of charge. RSVP is required.

Food will be provided. Comfort with computers is required.

This is a great opportunity to gain community service hours and build resumes.

Have you ever wanted to have a greater say in the library? Would you like to serve your community? There's a vacancy on our advisory board, and we'd love to have you! The board meets on the third Tuesday of every month, at 10:15 a.m. Board applications can be found at http://www.cityofnegaunee.com/documents/BoardApplication.pdf and submitted at city hall. Applications for this and other boards are approved by the city council. Board members must be residents of the City of Negaunee.

Mondays: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Tuesdays: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Wednesdays: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Thursdays: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Fridays: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturdays: 9 a.m. to noon
Sundays: Closed

The library and city hall do not close during inclement weather.

Saturday hours this summer are made possible by a grant from the Community Foundation of Marquette County.
