Welcome to the Negaunee Public Library
COVID-19 and your library PDF Print E-mail

The library is moving along in its reopening plan! Phase 2 is “Expanded Curbside Services.”

The dropboxes are open and patrons can return materials. Patrons can also call or email the library to arrange a time to pick up items curbside. The staff can make copies and faxes for the public by appointment, as well as printing via email. Limited donations may also be accepted by appointment only.

Staff will wear masks, face shields, and gloves, and place your items in your trunk or an empty passenger seat if it’s raining or snowing, or if you are unable to walk from your car. If you are on bicycle or foot, or are able to walk from your car to the building, we will place your items on a book cart at the bottom of the handicap ramp, and allow you to pick up your items.

Negaunee Public Library items are available, including daily newspapers, all magazines, and the “Watts Up?” power meters. Interlibrary loaning is available from most U.P. libraries, and through MeLCat.

You can also request tax forms and free bookmarks.

All online services will still be provided. Library staff are also answering the phone during normal library hours, at (906) 475-7700 ext. 18.
The Negaunee Public Library will be gradually reopening, in five phases.

Please wash your hands, wear a mask and keep six feet (social distancing) between yourself and people not in your household when you must leave the house, and stay safe. We hope to see you again when we reopen.
