National Novel Writing Month

November is National Novel Writing Month. The library invites you to challenge yourself to write 50,000 words in 30 days!  A preparation party/Q&A session will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, October 22, at the library (and co-hosted by the Ishpeming Carnegie Public Library).  Write-in sessions will be held Monday afternoons, from 2-7 p.m., in the Reading Room.

Refreshments will be provided.  All events are free of charge.  Tweens and teens 10+ and adults are welcome (though minors under 18 wishing to use the internet must have a parent/guardian come in to sign a permission waiver). During write-in sessions, a librarian will be on hand to help with research.

For more information about events, call the library at (906) 475-7700 ext. 18.  For more information about National Novel Writing Month, visit http://www.nanowrimo.org.
