Tech tutoring available PDF Print E-mail

As part of Libraries Lead with Digital Skills, an initiative of the American Library Association and the Public Library Association and sponsored by Grow with Google, the Negaunee Public Library is offering one-on-one tech tutoring for job seekers.

Teens and young adults, as well as library staff, are on hand to help you get past the frustrations of online job hunting. Help provided includes:

  • Basic internet skills
  • Resume writing
  • Email attachments
  • Filling out online applications
  • Using Google resources in job hunting
  • How to use online practice tests and other career preparation tools on MeL, the Michigan e-Library

To sign up for a tutoring session, contact the Negaunee Public Library by stopping in, emailing npl[at], or calling (906) 475-7700 extension 18, Sessions will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesdays and 10 a.m. Saturdays.

Tutoring sessions will run every week beginning Tuesday, October 8, through mid-November. RSVP is encouraged, but drop-ins are welcome.
