Spies Public Library – Fees

1.  Library Card – The Spies Public Library issues a library card at no charge to all residents of Menominee and Menominee Township upon proof of residency. Nonresident Fees are charged to those people living outside the City of Menominee and Menominee Township as follows on a yearly basis:

$15.00 Student (excluding students who attend Menominee Public and Private Schools)

$25.00 Individual User Fee

$40.00 Family Fee

2.  Overdue Fines – Adult and Juvenile Items: overdue fines are $.10 per day with a maximum of $5.00 per item. DVDs, overdue fines are $1.00 per day with a maximum of $5.00 per item. The library will suspend borrowing privileges if total fine/charges exceed $5.00.

3.  Meeting Room – The meeting rooms at the Spies Public Library are provided free of charge as a public service for use by non-profit community groups. Commercial organizations or businesses can use the room for $50/half day and $75/full day if no sales are involved.

4.  Copies/Fax – Copy/Fax Charges are as follows:

$.20 81/2 x 11

$.25 81/2 x 11 double sided

$.25 81/2 x 14

$.30 81/2 x 14 double sided

$.30 copy from microfilm reader/printer

Fax - $3.00 first page/ $1.00 for each additional page

5.  Rental Fee:

$1.00 Entertainment DVDs
