REGULAR BOARD MEETING
           March 4, 2020

The monthly meeting of the Alanson Area Public Library Board was called to order by Vice- President, B.R. Smith, at 6 pm. Those present were trustees Janet Batog, BR Smith, Anna LaRue,and Sue Brants. No guests were in attendance.

Minutes; Minutes of the February 6, regular board meeting were approved as read.

Treasurer's Report:

LAMA paid bill due 1-1-2020. New bill went out today, March 4,2020.

One thousand dollar gift came from Robert and Susan Clark.
No unusual expenses.

New chairs received. Cost $1,200.
Balance at end of February, $26,714.56.
All CDs are up to date.

Sue B. moved to accept the treasurer's report. Supported by Janet.

Director's Report;

Book Club: 5 attended today. April selection- The Huntress by Kate Quinn.

Speaker Programs: May 20:'Making of The American Hero'with George Coburn July 29:
'Navaho Code Talkers' with George Coburn September is not scheduled.

Michelle is scheduled for library staff training May 13-15 at Shanty Creek. Cost for the workshop is $149; hotel cost is $89/night.

-Old chairs: two sold and two were donated to the Gold Mine.

New shelves - suggestion made to measure and check into ready-made shelving.

Anna would like a long week-end in April for trip to Columbus. Not a problem.
Sue B. made the motion to accept the Director's Report. Seconded by Janet.

Unfinished Business;

Closed regular meeting for Anna's evalution discussion. Time-6 :17 p.m.
Open closed session. Time-6 : 19 p.m.

Review results showed that Anna exceeds expectations in almost all categories.BR and Anna
signed the evaluation.

Motion to close closed sessions by Janet. Seconded by Sue B.
Ended closed session at 6 :25 p.m.

Open regular meeting at 6 :26 p.m. Motion by Janet -seconded by Sue B.
