The L'Anse Area Schools/Public Library is part of the L'Anse Area Schools.  Therefore, if the L'Anse Area Schools is closed for inclement weather and or sickness, the L'Anse Area Schools/Public Library will also be closed!  This is in the school policy. 

If you have an item that is due on an unexpected closure (such as a snow day) you will not be charged for it being late if you return it the next open day.  There is a box located by the parking lot to deposit books (audio books and DVD's should not be returned in that box-  coldness or other items dropping on top will create damage which you will be charged for).
